YYYYMMDD: Question #0 Would you like to eat with us? Where?

NICOLE ZIEGLER: Yes! However, as I am new here, I don't know many restaurants yet, but it should definitely be in Lisbon. And I think we should have some sardines.

Ok, seriously, I guess we like eachother. I think it all starts from there. Always. Then, Daniela told me, she liked my last work and wanted to know more about it.

Question #4 Show us your favourite work you did. / someone else did.

It took me a little while to decide. Now I think that the work "memory" is my favourite one, because I have it with me all the time. It is on my skin.
The work was realised in 2012 for and during the final presentation of the Intermedia Art study programme at the Heusteig Theatre in Stuttgart. The presentation was open to the public.
I invited a tattoo artist to tattoo (german) quotation marks on both of my wrists, live in front of the audience. The used typeface is times. I wanted german quotation marks because they can be read from both sides - from my point of view and from the spectators/the tattoo artists perspective aswell.
I think this is also a prime example for some thoughts that are important in my work in general: the ephemeral and the eternal, quotes (when you quote something/someone you usually remember something/someone) and language.
